Founded in 2023 by Guðmundur Þór Norðdahl(Iceland) and Laura Kapustaviciute(Lithuania); Nordahl International Business Services began as a focused recruitment agency designed to support Iceland’s fast-growing economy.

Our original mission was to connect Icelandic companies with qualified international workers in industries where local hiring was not sufficient. Thanks to strong demand and trusted partnerships, the company quickly expanded.

With strong academic backgrounds and years of experience in the labour market, both co-founders bring deep knowledge from industries such as security services, retail, and management. Our mission and expertise shapes our professional, people-focused approach to international recruitment, fish product brokerage, and real estate.

We support Icelandic businesses and individuals in finding qualified international staff;  especially in sectors where domestic hiring has proven challenging. We serve industries across construction, airport and facility security, agriculture, fisheries, and general staffing needs.
